Minecraft - High Security Bank System

Minecraft - High Security Bank System Video Clips.

This is my High Security Bank System design in Minecraft. It uses a 9 digit PIN Number and has 3 users. It can easily be expanded to more than three users, but the more users you add, the more delay you get for retrieving your cart. This consists of 3 order sensitive combination locks wired into one panel. Each number uses a button and has an RS-NOR Latch to cause the current to be remembered. The output of each of the RS-NOR Latches is hooked up to and inverter then to an AND Gate. Once the PIN is correct and the user button is pressed, you will get you cart. This design probably could easily be made smaller, but I wanted it to be easy to make and understand. Thanks. Home Security System - DIY Style!

Home Security System - DIY Style!

Security System

Have you ever wanted to have the capability of seeing who was at your front or back door without actually going to the door and opening it. As part of home security 101 we preach of course that everyone should have a peephole and use it. That is a good first step.

But beyond that is having the capability to actually see who's there on a cctv setup in your own home.

The idea is relatively easy and is a great way to increase security for your home and help in the prevention of home invasion.

Using a hidden or surveillance camera and a cctv monitor you can greatly increase protection for your family.

Most home invasions are accomplished by simply getting in thru the front or back door. If you can see who's there, it will give the homeowner a tremendous advantage.

HERE'S HOW TO DO IT.

Install a surveillance camera over or near your front or back door-or both. Make sure the camera is designed for outdoor use and at least weatherproof. Dome cameras are usually the best for this use. Some have extra protection against vandalism. They are small and inexpensive. Hook your cameras up to your DVR or VCR.

The cameras can be wired or wireless-wired is best for this application.

Then connect a cctv LCD monitor to the DVR or VCR that can be located anywhere in your home. Most monitors can view at least 4 cameras. You can place the monitor near the doors you are watching or further away in a den or family room.

This setup gives you added security for your home and your family. It is relatively inexpensive and very east to set up.

So to find out who's at your front or back door without going to see who's there get the equipment, hook it up and rest easy-a real DIY home security system.

Security Systems Protect the Home and Now a Wireless System Allows you to Protect Your Autos

Security Systems Protect the Home and Now a Wireless System Allows you to Protect Your Autos

Security System

Protecting a home is often the first thought after moving in and make the decision to install an alarm system and what gets forgotten is the garage. But what about the unattached garage, can that be protected too and how can this be done?

Today most vehicles have alarm systems and we take it for granted when one goes off that it is just a mistake and one that gets on our nerves if it is a nice quite day and a horn starts blaring.

This is one main reason why it makes sense to use an alarm system in the garage, autos are expensive investments and many people also have motorhomes, motorcycles, and classic cars. It has become an easy task to ensure that these vehicles stay safe from thieves and home security companies have made it all possible with their wireless system sensors on the windows of the garage, sensors on the doors and a telephone line, your cars and other vehicles no matter how expensive will be protected. They can not only be protected from thieves but also from smoke and fire, as well as water leaks and flooding and many unattached garages have sinks and even laundry facilities in them and should these water pipes spring a leak it may go unnoticed for hours or even days until the leak becomes a real problem.

These sensor work when set by alerting the monitoring system control panel if one of the windows or doors that they are attached to is opened, of course if it is a family member there is a small amount of time allotted to key in the security code to disarm the alarm system. If this is not done then the control panel will alert the monitoring center that there has been a break-in at the home and the authorities will be set out to check on the property.

This can all be done without installing wiring and can give the garage all the protection it needs and added with the home security system, motion lighting and even cameras can give the entire property protection from thieves and auto thefts are on the rise in every area even the areas that are said to be the safest to live.

Its easy to be safe in the home and in the garage with a wired or wireless system.

Design Your Security Camera System For Your Needs

Design Your Security Camera System For Your Needs

Security System

Are you thinking of getting a security camera system for your home or business? Be sure to have a design that fits your specific needs.

A camera set-up for a home will be quite different than a system for a business. Here's some tips in getting the right system for your situation.

Home security camera system

Any home camera will always want to zoom in on entry points to the home. This way, if someone is at your front door in the evening, you'll be able to see who it is before opening the door.

You'll also be able to monitor the area around your premises for any suspicious activity, like a prowler for instance. If you happen to see something, you can call the police and let them take care of it.

It may seem like this is far fetched, but all it takes is one time of having a burglar, or worse, at your door to change the life of you and your family forever. A security camera can help prevent this from ever occurring.

Business security camera system

Perhaps you have a business and need to monitor your store for shoplifters and thieves. Having cameras in plain sight is a great deterrent too many would be shoplifters. You're less likely to steal anything when you know there is video surveillance in the store.

Also having a security camera watching the counter area and cash register is a must. In the unfortunate case that a robbery would occur, you'll have a clear image from the camera to help the police.

Regardless of whether you own a business or you're a homeowner, a security camera system will help to keep you and your property much safer. And by having it designed for your specific needs, it can provide the best surveillance possible.

Cheap Wireless Home Security System - Do It Yourself and Save!

Cheap Wireless Home Security System - Do It Yourself and Save!

Security System

Our family has had its fair share of trauma over the years. There have been car accidents with injury, illness and death of family, pets and friends. My daughter was robbed at knife point in the parking lot at the grocery store.

But I believe the most terrifying experience I can remember having was a break in we had in the middle of the night when the kids were little. The second youngest girl woke up to go to the bathroom and ran right into a hooded intruder. The screams were deafening and I don't blame the robber who sliced his or her hand on the broken window used to enter from, running with abandon to get out! Of course there were the many hours consoling terrified children and seeing them for many days later with the blank stare of fear on their faces. It could have been much worse with more experience armed intruders. We've all seen the movies and watched the news.

It was not long after that we hired a local company to install a very extensive security system for close to 00. We really could not afford it at the time but I was not going to be deterred from this decision. I am not too demanding but I generally get what I want!

Since that time we have moved a few times and we have been more prepared for the protection I insist upon having. I also make sure my kids have systems installed if I have to pay for it myself. You should see the amused looks I have gotten at Christmas!

Below I give a review of what I have found to analyze security needs and make a decision on what type of system is best based on this analysis! I also suggest in my signature area what I consider to be the best place to purchase equipment. What I like about them besides the price at that they have very knowledgeable people on-call that are always available to consult with!

It is quite simple to buy cheap do it yourself self security system online to protect your home. There are numerous types of wireless home security systems that are available at affordable rates. Most systems commonly consist of window and door sensors, motion detectors, siren alerts and disruptive flashing lights. Others have ingenuous inbuilt features which enable them to automatically alert you and other pre-set individuals through the phone, when they detect suspicious activity. You can also set it up so you can monitor it while at work or out-of-town on your computer or smart phone!

One of the major benefits of wireless security systems besides the low price tag is the ease of installation. You do not require a professional contractor to install the alarm system in your home. If you are handy with a screwdriver, you are all set to install the gadget at your home. First though, you have to plan for the installation process. The major role of planning is to identify the layout of the building with a view to detecting any weaknesses.

Once you have identified the weak areas, you have an idea on where to place the wireless alarm system components. Major weak spots usually include the entry and exit points of your home. All doors and windows must be monitored and a complete floor layout scheme can be used to view other potential entryways. Working with a plan also helps in determining the specific type of sensor to be used on different areas of your home. Similarly, it allows you to pick a particular type of wireless alarm control panel, depending on the areas that are being monitored. It is advisable to go for a remote control console that can be upgraded and expanded to allow for future requirements.

Cheap wireless home security systems might come with an alarm or not. You may either choose to install an alarm or rely on the main control panel to warn you inside of suspicious movement or tampering. Using an alarm adds the benefit of warning intruders beforehand since it is normally externally visible. Ensure you place it high enough to prevent it from being tampered with.

The last item to install is the remote wireless control panel. Decide on a convenient location to place it inside the house. A wireless system permits for easier attachment of the sensors and placement of the control panel. You may either place it in an open location or hide it from view. Some systems come with additional remote control key chains which you can carry around for convenience. For further information on Home Security read on!

Home Security Alarm System & Burglary Prevention - Why You Must Have Quality Burglar Alarm System

Home Security Alarm System & Burglary Prevention - Why You Must Have Quality Burglar Alarm System

Security System

FIRST, DOES HOME SECURITY ALARM MONITORING SYSTEM PREVENT OR STOP HOME BURGLARY?

A recent study by a major New York-based online review organization on home security, sought to find the role and place of monitored alarm system in modern home security. And, in that regard, considering the very TOP PRIORITY that Americans place in home safety and the security of their homes, more especially in today's desperate economy, the very PRIMARY question that the reviewers FIRST sought to find out, was simply this: is a good and dependable burglary alarm system (just assuming a consumer can find one) an effective tool that can deter and prevent home break-ins or burglaries?

It turned out, however, from the researchers' findings, that the answer to that important question is YES, it is, and in a Huge Way...

In deed, many numerous investigations, studies and statistics, reviewed by the researchers, immediately show, empirically, that there's a high degree of effectiveness for the use of a monitored electronic security system as a deterrent to home break-in and prevention tool to combat burglaries. Such data and studies include the following:

- A recent 2009 Rutgers University study by its School of Criminal Justice, using five years of data, the most comprehensive of its kind ever conducted, scientifically proved that burglars, by a margin of as much as 30 to 40 percent, tend to avoid homes with burglar alarm systems, as the study further found that "an installed burglar alarm makes a dwelling less attractive to the would-be and active intruders and protects the home without displacing burglars to nearby homes."

- That, in deed, in an earlier study in 1994 that was based on interviews with burglars, "Burglars on the Job," which had been published by Northeastern University Press, researchers had made a similar finding, and had concluded that, "Most offenders, though, wanted to avoid alarms altogether and, upon encountering such devices abandoned all thought of attacking the dwelling."

- That, according to a Temple University study headed by Professor Simon Hakim, Director of the university's Center for Competitive Government, a monitored alarm system makes a home three times less likely to be burglarized versus a home without an alarm. Businesses without alarm systems are 4.5 times more likely to be burglarized than the ones with electronic security system. And, finally, losses due to burglary average 0 less in residences without alarm security systems.

- That, according to confession made by the burglars, 9 out of 10 convicted burglars admitted that they would avoid making a burglary attempt altogether on a house that's protected by an alarm system. (U.S. Department of Justice study, 1999).

- That, an effective home security system (but one from a reputable home security company) makes a home 3 times LESS LIKELY to be burglarized, according to a National Burglar and Fire Association study (2004). Additionally, however, the 2009 study by Rutgers University, first cited above, found that though having a residential burglary alarm system in a home does, in deed, decrease crime by as much as 30-40 percent, it does so, though, not just on the property only that has the alarm system, but in the ENTIRE surrounding area.

- That installation of electronic security products by Americans, and use of professional services (and the spending) on them, has been growing at an estimated 4.3 percent per year (STAT Resources, Inc., a Newton, Mass, full service market research
organization specialized in such matters).

- That 94 percent of home alarm owners are satisfied with their alarm systems (Prof. Simon Hakim's study of Temple University).

- That 90 percent of the Police believe that alarms deter burglary attempts. (STAT Resources study).

- According to a Board Resolution passed by the International Association of Chiefs of Police in 1994, alarm systems, providing, though, they are professionally installed and monitored, are useful instruments to deter crime and provide peace of mind for both residential users and business owners. (International Association of Chiefs of Police, Alexandria, Va.).

It's Probably the Single Most Effective Solution to home burglary....

In point of fact, having a good monitored burglary alarm system is not only vital and effective as a burglary deterring tool. But, according to security experts, pound-for-pound, having a monitored home alarm security system, which they strongly emphasize MUST be a good and reliable brand, is perhaps the best and SINGLE MOST EFFECTIVE SOLUTION that one could institute in having a home that scares away potential burglars and keeps them away from your home, and your family safety.

And why is that?

Because of it's tremendous "deterrent effect" power or factor. Says Chris E. McGoey, an internationally acclaimed expert and probably one of the foremost authorities on home security management in America who often works with the media on home violence, crime and burglary prevention and is a frequent expert witness in court cases on such matters throughout America, who was consulted by study's reviewers, among other sources, "alarm systems deter burglaries because they increase the potential and [provoke in the potential burglar the] fear of being caught and arrested by the police. The deterrent value comes from the alarm company lawn signs that are placed in the protected premises, and from the alarm decals on the windows. Home and apartment burglars will usually bypass a property with visible alarm signs and will go to another property that does not have such a sign."

BOTTOM LINE:Overwhelmingly, by the overwhelming amount of data accumulated by the expert researchers of this New York investigative office, the almost conclusive finding of the researchers is that the mere fact of just having a good, professionally installed and monitored ELECTRONIC HOME SECURITY SYSTEM ALONE, DRASTICALLY REDUCES the possibility of having a BURGLARY in a home, and hugely DETERS BURGLARS from hitting a home. (Just as it does, as well, in respect to other important risk and
emergency situations).

KEY: THE MONITORED ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEM MUST BE THE RIGHT ONE & QUALITY

ONE OTHER CRITICAL FINDING OF THESE RESEARCHERS, THOUGH IS THIS: That, what is probably of the most critical importance of all, however, is that you choose an electronic system that is of THE RIGHT brand from a quality company. Like any other industry, there are good brands and companies, and there are bad brands and companies.

In deed, according to this finding, as a homeowner or consumer if you choose the improper or wrong home security system, or, even worse than that, the wrong or unreliable company which provides or installs the system for you, you stand a serious chance of sustaining serious break ins, and even risk to life, that is just primarily attributable to that specific factor alone! And, further more, that you may, in stead, possibly find yourself in even worse shape than you were before you first went for the home security system.

So, for the homeowner interested in getting that GOOD home electronic home security system that you must have, how do you know or find it? This, in deed, is the critical task and test that confronts such a home owner. Choosing a home security and burglar alarm system, especially a high quality one that is the most proper and fitting type for you, and which will be unfailing and dependable, can be one of the toughest and most difficult things for any homeowner ever.

Why?

This is primarily due to the fact that there's such a great multitude and wide variety of house security and alarm systems and security companies in the market. Just perusing local telephone directories or Internet searches, will quickly yield you a large number of home security companies in any one of the major cities, which can often be most confusing for almost all but the most expert of security eyes.

In fact, there are, by the same recent study, some moderate to major 2,500 to 3,400 outfits that present themselves as security companies or marketers of such items across America. And out of these, a consumer or home owner is supposed to pick out just ONE to secure his or her home or property. Furthermore, just as importantly, in trying to compare the various security systems to pick out the best and proper one for you, you must also be able to have a pretty good idea and understanding of exactly which types of important security features are offered by each option.

A 1997 market research report, for example, by STAT Resources, Inc., a Newton Mass full service market research organization, found there was an average of 13,100 businesses nationwide that were classified as "alarm installing entities." (Dependable alarm installing entities).

Hence, the toughest part of all aspects for consumers in trying to get a home security system, is the consumer being able to pick out just ONE company out of such a huge number of different security systems, as well as the companies which sell them, each of which is hotly competing with the others to see which can out-do the other in making fabulous advertising claims about their own individual products -- through a constant flood of advertisements on the Internet, by radio and TV, by newspapers and bill boards, etc. And each of whom, of course, will claim excellence and high quality for the brand they provide customers, and all of whom will say, of course, that their own particular brands of product (and the related services), is the very greatest and the very best quality! So, how the heck can the average person tell the good ones from the bad ones?

Best of the best home security system reviewed, scored, ranked & revealed

In short, the CENTRAL question for the average home owner, is: how do you know enough to know which ONE out of the several thousands of brands that exist today in home security system is any good, and which one is reliable and of the right pick quality? Consequently, the work of the independent researchers in this latest study, led them to devising a systematic program by which they assembled all the major home alarm systems from across America, and tested, evaluated, graded and ranked them to arrive at the best of the best home security system for consumers in the United States today.

It designates, through an objective, data-based, set of criteria and mathematical formula, the best of the best home security monitored electronic systems available among the whole global pack, and methodologically evaluates, scores, rates and ranks them to produce the Top Dozen Home Security Systems, and then the Top Number #1 Home Security System in the whole industry.

Wireless Security Camera and System Basics

Wireless Security Camera and System Basics

Security System

Wireless security cameras are used in closed-circuit television systems (CCTV) for surveillance and monitoring. They transmit a video and audio signal to a remote receiver using radio frequencies. Most of these cameras do require wired power, although some models may use batteries or even solar power.

Analog wireless security cameras

Analog wireless cameras transmit their signal in the lower, radio frequencies of 900MHz, 2.4GHz and 5.8 GHz. Note that most of them operate over the 2.4 GHz band, the same band that a lot of household wireless appliances, such as cordless phones and video game controllers, operate on. Interference may result when using in the home.

The advantages of analog wireless security systems is they are lower cost than their digital brethren, and you can use multiple receivers.

The disadvantages are they may cause interference with other devices in the home. The transmission is not secure. the video signal quality is lower than digital, and any interference makes it worse.

900 MHz systems can be used in installations where the signal must go through drywall or even trees to reach the receiver. There is also not a lot of interference with other devices. Unfortunately there are only two channels available at 900 MHz.

2.4 GHz systems are more common, and there are 12 channels available, however, it is rare that you can find a channel that is not already in use by another wireless device.

5.8 GHz setups have a better chance of success, since there is less interference and there are 8 channels available (so you can have up to 8 cameras). The biggest challenge is the signal cannot go through many walls without lots of degradation.

Transmission Power

Lower cost 5.8 GHz systems most likely have a 10 milliwatt transmitter, which ideally can transmit to 300 feet with line of sight between the transmitter antenna and the receiver antenna. This rarely happens. This is a broad generalization and conditions such as distance, weather and clear line of sight affect this greatly.

When selecting an analog wireless security camera system, make sure you find out the transmission power and determine whether this will be enough to overcome any obstacles in your system.

Digital Wireless Security Cameras

Digital security cameras transmit digital information over high bandwidth radio frequencies.

The major disadvantage is the cost of the system. This maybe offset by the many advantages.

Advantages of a digital system are as follows: Long range transmission of signal with no degradation - can go 450 feet with line of sight between camera and receiver Very high quality audio and video signals Can have two-way communication between camera and operator High security of the signal.

Wireless IP Security Cameras

Wireless IP cameras are now available that can connect through a local area network over IEEE 802.11b/g WiFi systems. These include 2-way audio feeds, encryption, pan, tilt control and automatic night vision. These types of cameras have replaced the older digital wireless cameras, due to prevalence of Wi-Fi networks.

These are some things to consider when laying out your system.
